So I love baking, and decorating cakes.. Here are some of the cakes & cookies I have Made and decorated. I just recently started taking pictures. which makes me sad; There would be SO much more if I took them from the beginning.
This was made for my Dad, Because he will always love Spiderman

These Cookies Below, Where a Raspberry Thumbprint cookie, Drizzled with White Chocolate and Green Sugar Sprinkles for Christmas. Delish!

This was for My Mother-In-Laws Surprise 50th birthday, because... Well she turned 50! I hand carved 2 Giant Home Made cakes into the 5 and 0 and then decorated them. for 50 or so people.

Five Guys = Five Stars!!

So, last night I planned to come home and make Tortellini with Broccoli and a Garlic and Cheese Vinaigrette, I went to the grocery store and came out also with Shrimp and Bamboo sticks, and brilliant ideas.. and then the phone rang, (it was my husband) he changed his mind. He now wanted a burger, and wanted to go out. i put all my groceries away and we went to Five Guys. We ordered a Cheeseburger with Mustard, Ketchup and Pickles, a Bacon Cheeseburger with Lettuce, Ketchup and Mustard, a Regular order of Fries, and 2 sodas. This place was decently priced,  and had fast service.
Now for me, a burger is the hardest thing to order out (when for others its the easiest first pick.) I don't like them to thick, not to wet and greasy, but not to dry either. I guess you could call me The "Goldy Locks" of Hamburgers. So our food finally came. I opened it up and was amazed. The smell, The layering, the height of the Burger (These Burgers had to patties, and I'm guessing the "Little" options on the menu are Single.) The Burgers were Moist, but the outside was so nicely caramelized in color to get that rich flavor of the meat in each mouthful when you bite into it. The Fries here home made, with skins on. (My favorite) The whole time we ate I just said how amazing it was, and thought of the endless possibilities, in seeing that ALL Toppings are free. (Mayo, Relish, Onions, Lettuce, Pickles, Tomatoes, Grilled Onions, Grilled Mushrooms, Ketchup, Mustard, Jalapeno Peppers, Green Peppers, A-1 Sauce, Bar-B-Q Sauce, & Hot Sauce). That leaves a adventurous eater with endless possibilities. They also have Cajun Fries; Which I WILL try next time.  I would definitely, and will definitely go to Five Guys again! The place was just filled with regular people hungry for a burger. (and a noticeable little boy, who kept us entertained by moving his table away from his families table and eating, in front of the entrance door, all alone. While his family didn't notice for a while.) So i hope you will all visit a 5 Guys near you, and read about them. I have attached some history & facts about 5 Guys, which I found on their website!

What to write as my first blog!?

 So, Where to start?
I have never written a blog so far, and hope to not bore anyone to death (if there is anyone who will read this), but I always wanted to write about food, and share the joy of cooking, preparing and eating with others.
I went to Vocational High School for 2 years taking a Culinary course. Learning fast and quickly about Sanitation, FIFO, Prep, Food Bourne Illnesses, And most importantly how to read a recipe on your own! If you had a question, the teacher was not going to give it to you; you figure out what it says and do it.
I have watched Rachael Ray from $10 a day, 30 Minute Meals, to The Rachael Ray Show and from her, I learned that you dont have to go to school to appreciate cooking, you have to have the want, for cooking and food, and this is what I have. My Father has been in the Kitchen, and outside at his grill.. I mean 3 grills, for as long as I can remember. Cooking up great family dinners (always a 5 course meal).  My Mother teaching me her family recipes, and some of my childhood favorites, that will just always taste better - when she makes them.  I think from them, is where my appreciation for food, and the Art of Cooking has come from. Theres a little history for you!  I will start posting, my ideas, my recipes, my disasters, and accomplishments. I will try new recipes, and buy new items i have not tried before. I will show you pictures and let you know how they work out!
